The team at MoreEco visited the Event last Friday. We managed to take some pictures which we have loaded to flickr. I hope that the team at UKAware hold another eco event next year.

Follow the link for the pictures.

Everytime I go into shops here in London, I am still amazed that I can count with one hand the number of people with reusable bags in spite of all the campaigns. It's one of the simplest and easiest contribution we can make. Yet, there's still so few of us who are even trying to change habits.

That's a great idea!
In particular the bag issue is a great one to get behind since it is so easily solvable. Reading reports of enormous clumps of plastic bags floating in the Pacific Ocean in its most remote, furthest from land, spot makes you want to throw it all in. We've already gone too far in polluting with plastic bags, but at least we can stop doing it now.
I've added you to my blogroll.
Thanks!

True. Everyone really should go and plant a tree if only to help offset some of their own carbon footprint. There really is so much we can do. Even a little at a time. One tree at a time. It will all make a difference...Been to your blog. Hats off to your plans of planting 50,000 trees!

Great article... and don't forget the benefits that planting a tree will have on the environment. Each one will soak up 20kgs of CO2 every year and put enough Oxygen back in the atmosphere to support 2 people.
